zotune
10.7.2 - Seems to happen with .mp4 files, not .avi for some reason. Try any .mp4 torrent (.wmv as well)
AnnSnark
Thanks a lot! Unfortunately, we cannot reproduce the issue. Is .torrent added automatically or manually? Do you set the download location during or after the download? Are there 1 or several .torrents in the file? Please, provide more details if you can.As for the 2nd problem ("Display Window With Torrent Details" for Automatically Loaded .torrents) - this is feature, not a bug. The window displays only if .torrent is added manually.
zotune
Torrent is Added "Automatically" through watch folderTorrent is imported as "Stopped" "(Start downloads Automatically" is turned off), then changed Download Location with Advanced -> Set Download LocationHappens every time with .mp4 files for me. cryptochrome
I have the exact same issue. VERY annoying. Because when you rename the file manually, uTorrent won't find it anymore and stops seeding.
cryptochrome
I might add: This only happens if the torrent is a download for a single file. If the torrent contains directories with files, then everything is fine.So downloading a single file "blablabla.mkv" becomes "blablabla", but if the torrent contains a directory with the file like "some_directory/blablabla.mkv" then it works. cryptochrome
Thank you for descriptions, it helped us reproduce the problem, we'll start working on it.Any updates on this yet? This is driving me nuts. Unable to use uTorrent with this bug present.
AnnSnark
The problem seems to be, when you move .torrent to another location, extension doesn't show up in file name field in that 'set location' pop-up window, so file name gets overwritten without it. Try to manually add it in that window and see if it helps. If the problem goes, please write a message to us and we'll fix it.Thanks!

cryptochrome
Any news on that? uTorrent really has a problem dealing with file extensions. Mostly cosmetic, as you can see here: http://cl.ly/1b3b360v2A3p2R321y28But in at least one instance it causes real problems (as described in this thread).
