not seeding

I am entirely new to creating torrents and uploading them so I probably messed up somewhere.

I made the torrent and uploaded it to a site, but when I had a friend download it doesnt work.

Utorrent says its seeding but upload stays at 0

Any suggestions what I can do to get it to work?
