Disk overloaded 100%

Read some other threads and still no solution, for me at least.

No idea what the cause of this is. Doing a certain download and will have maybe 50GB left after the download is completed. Not even sure if that's what this means.

Anyway, the download start gets up to about 1.3Mbps and then drops to 10kbps max and I get "disk overloaded 100%" at the bottom. Extremely annoying. Currently can't download ANYTHING.

So you have sparse files turned on and preallocate turned off?

I don't know where sparse files is and preallocate has always been off for me.

No sparse files is enabled for me actually when my brother tried fixing this.

I have the same (on large files > 80 GB).

I think - Memory leak

Try cahange setings - Options\preferences\Advanced\Disk Catch\ disc Override auto... set to "1800"

it gives more time before crash

you THINK it's a memory leak when in reality it's windows' disk cache being stupid.

uTorrent RAM usage on crash 1.3 GB (when start 18 MB).

Then where's your hijackthis log and process explorer process list with the dll list for the utorrent.exe process?

did not have time, downgrade to 2.2.1 - is better

Result-

1) when downgrade to 2.2.1 RAM usage is normal

2) then upgrade to latest stable utorrent - RAM usage is normal

3) enable win disc write caching- RAM usage is normal

4) return original configuration utorrent - RAM usage is normal

all works perfect
