Dudutech Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Hello, i tryed to find topics related to my problem but none worked so ill tell you my problem. I have an internet connection through modem that is connected to a wireless router (Linksys WRT54GX4) and that one is sharing the connection to three different persons. Every time when my friend is downloading with utorrent i get disconnected like every 2 minutes from (yahoo messenger/skype/wow...etc...). I am not a pro in routers and connections but he said that the other friend in the network doesnt get disconnected. I couldnt ask the other person but i dont belive his sayings. He uses uTorrent 3.0 version. When i download with utorrent same problem happens but not so often, i get dcd like every 5-10 minutes. Im using same version. We all use windows 7 ultimate 64-bit.Sorry for my bad english if anyone had same issue and cand help please help, i have this problem for a long time, Thank you!
ZafilaPT Posted November 28, 2011 Report Posted November 28, 2011 I'm having the same problem. I was trying to download Legend of the Galactic Heroes witch has 44.5GB and uTorrent 3.0 makes my net crash, when I download 2 episodes of Fairy Tail I had no problem. I also use Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Guess I'm going back to the old version.

robmcsa Posted December 3, 2011 Report Posted December 3, 2011 Hey dudutech did you figure it out? Just curious.
ZafilaPT Posted December 3, 2011 Report Posted December 3, 2011 My fix for that problem is gettin' a new BitTorrent program. Small files I use uTorrent for large files (several GB) I use another program. .
DreadWingKnight Posted December 3, 2011 Report Posted December 3, 2011 Zafila, your "fix" isn't actually a fix, and probably won't solve the root cause of your problem.
ZafilaPT Posted December 3, 2011 Report Posted December 3, 2011 No, it won't solve, and it's not just my problem. Several person with Windows 7 Ultimate are complain about the same. I already have my problems to think about don't need anymore. It's not everyday that I download stuff of several GB.

rhomio Posted January 9, 2012 Report Posted January 9, 2012 I have the same problem, when I open utorrent and it starts to download my internet connection disconnects!
FredSam43 Posted January 9, 2012 Report Posted January 9, 2012 I have the same problem, when I open utorrent and it starts to download my internet connection disconnects!I too loose my internet connection when I run uTorrent, but only if don't use protocol encryption. Since the internet connection is lost for minutes after I quit uTorrent I had always naively assumed that I'm getting so many people responding (legitimately or not) to seeing that there is a computer running uTorrent at my IP address that my Ethernet link or my (fairly good) router is overwhelmed with traffic. (FWIW Using the random port option doesn't help, but I do on principle.)I got the very same behavior when my daughter's PC was infected: anytime it came on line our internet was virtually instantly overwhelmed till about 20 minutes after she went offline.
