Constant crashing after a short time

Hi,

My utorrent was working great until a few months ago. After a few minutes, i now get an error message saying "Utorrent has crashed. A crashdump file has been created." I tried just googleing the problem, and got a few good hits. I've uninstalled, cleared the metadata in /appdata/utorrent, reinstalled, set my port to a number higher than 60000, and scanned for any viruses (using Malwarebytes) that might be the culprit. As none of these have worked, I now turn to you fine fellows for help.

additionally, it's build 26473 and 32-bit. I am running 64-bit vista, would that be the problem? :/

Downloaded the 64 bit beta. Still crashes, but doesn't have the option to create a dump file and send to admins. I suppose I'll reinstall the stable version that I had, and I'll await further instructions.
