joshvancity
So I am mostly computer illiterate, and having just downloaded uTorrent on my new Mac have run into difficulty downloading any sort of torrent. Just tried downloading one tonight, and there is a red circle with an exclamation point to the left of the file name, with the message "Error: Former Volume Not Mounted." My apologies if this is explained somewhere else but I couldn't find it, and cannot for the life of me figure out what this means or how to "fix" it. Any help? AnnSnark
Try to change your download location (right-click on the torrent-->advanced-->set download location). If the torrent contains only 1 file, check that file extension is present in the file name, if necessary, add it.
joshvancity
Wow, thanks! I had it set to download straight into my music in iTunes (which I figured should make sense) but once I changed it to desktop it started downloading and seems to be working fine. Thanks a ton.
