Bogey
I have two accounts on Windows 7, one admin and one limited. If I run utorrent "as administrator" it's ok, but, if I run it as a limited user, I need to go through the installation steps every single time. If I run it, install it, exit, then run it again without restarting or anything, it still asks for installation. What could I do?
schnurlos
Rightclick the desktop icon, options, compatibility, check "run as administrator"
Bogey
Is that the only way? I didn't have this problem until recently, when I reinstalled my OS. I don't know how I did it before, but it worked good.
Bogey
Yeah... well, now it just worked. I booted up my pc, installed uTorrent again, as usual, then i installed some windows updates and restarted windwos. When I ran uTorrent, surprise! Didn't ask for installation. I have no ideea what was the problem or how it was fixed.@schnurlos thanks for taking the time to answer. (Not a good long time solution though, it's kind of frustrating to type the password on every run)
