Toddimyre
I'm not entirely sure of how to reproduce the bug, but occasionally uTorrent will hide torrents from the GUI. The labels still show the torrent. The program itself still sees the torrent. Adding a torrent still produces the "This torrent already exists..." message, but you cannot see the torrent to do anything with it. Here's a link to my G+ where I posted a screen cap.: https://plus.google.com/photos/100687399604209786383/albums/5686881826627502929
DreadWingKnight
So you're not looking at the "Torrents" category for what reason?
Aled
My torrents have just dissappeared, though they are still recognised somewhat, as you see from this screen capture. It happened right after I changed the default location for new downloads from E:\\foldername to G:\\foldername and the default location for saving torrents from E:\\torrents to G:\\torrents. I had already moved my files and starting saving new ones to the G drive without problems prior to changing it to the default location. I cut and paste the 'torrents' folder from E to G drive, but can't remember if I did this before or after changing the uTorrent settings. Windows 7 (64-bit) and uTorrent 3.1 (build 26616), both in Welsh versions. (I changed uTorrent language to English for the screen grab.)
ffz
I'm having the same problem as well, is this now a known bug?
LonerPrime
I had the same problem exactly as the original poster described. The only thing I want to add to it is that I deleted the .torrent files the day before and did a restart of the machine after which the labels do display the number of torrents but do not provide details in the main UI. For now I managed to get around this by reverting to utorrent 2.0 where I can now see the whole list of torrents properly but with the error display "Can't open files cause .torrent is missing". Still I would like to go back to 3.1 asap cause some torrent websites have blacklisted 2.0 version =/
tedych
I had the same problem with 3.1 twice. I don't remember how I managed to solve it exactly, but it had something to do with playing around with the interface - changing sections, show/hide UI elements etc. Was very annoying and 'lovely'. Reverting to the good ol' 2.2.1 is almost a life saver.
extcon
I just wanted to report the exact same issue uTorrent 3.1 build 26616 32-bit running on Windows 7 64-bit. Not sure how to reproduce it...
Toddimyre
So you're not looking at the "Torrents" category for what reason?First, I'm going to apologize for the delay. Second, the reason I wasn't looking at the Torrents tab was because I was trying to illustrate the point. If you note, I have the label Linux highlighted with 4 torrents, but uTorrent is only showing 2.I've found a semi-fix for this problem, but it causes all torrents to be removed.(1) Go to your program directory and open the resume_dir folder.(2) Delete the contents of this folder. (You must delete the contents, not the folder!)(3) Open uTorrent and the program will finish fixing the folder.
ashirmittal
Just activate remote upload and delete the torrents from http://remote.utorrent.com and re add them.. this will save your data too and not much trouble
Robertat
I have the same problems. This new version never acts the same way twice. The old version was very stable, I wish I could get it back!!! This one almost always opens blank. When I click on Inactive, so I can start some of my torrents seeding, nothing happens. Sometimes if I close it, it will open again with the Inactive window displayed, but most of the time it won't. It is extremely frustrating. Is there any way to get the old version back? DreadWingKnight
We don't support downgrading. Anyone attempting to link old versions will have their posts deleted and accounts banned.
truglx
The reason for this is that torrent has been labeled as "Hidden".To resolve:1. Log through Remote UI2. Right-click on the torrent and change the label to anything else3. The torrents will now appear in the utorrent UI.Enjoy!
