Hashfail + Force Recheck = Success

I was downloading 2.5Gb file and I got 1.5Gb hashfail on a single piece.

The file just would not complete.

So I stopped and ran "Force re-check" on the file.

It completed on the spot with no additional download.

I assume it is because of bad/fake/poison-pill piece from somewhere.

Ever since then, whenever I see hashfail on the same piece, I just stop the process and run "force re-check".

I have had many successes using this method.

I am sure there is better fix for hashfail fix/recovery method but it is what it is to fix with whats available.

Now, I have a question whether there is a mechanism in uTorrent to run "force re-check" on a condition of certain number of repeated hashfail such that

(X) number of hashfail on the same piece, run "force re-check".

I have seen repeated hashfail on the same piece many times. Sometimes a single piece or multiple pieces on a file during download.
