Ever since I started using utorrent and downloading torrents my speeds have never been good, Here are my speed results for my connection (fibre optic);

1663006228.png

And am getting around 40-50 Kb/s Avg. and have never gotten above 500 kb/s

And upload speeds of around 7/kbs

i have changed my preferences to what people have told me like so;

Preferences>Bandwidth>Number of Connections; 500 for each

Preferences>BitTorrent>Protocol Encryption> Forced

and if i run a standard setup guide it says i should have 6.9Mbit/s upload.

Any ideas on what is going wrong :s

By doing what?, adding screenshots? i'd be here allday uploading them to a image hosting website.

My point was that you said you did as asked. You didn't.

As to how long it takes to upload, you also said you have fiber optic: you apparently don't want help.

Sorry for intruding on your thread.

1. Open the Setup Guide, enter there 5 Mbit/s and save. Ignore the speed test.

2. Preferences>BitTorrent>Protocol Encryption...Disabled and allow legacy connections.

3. Make sure you don't have *s in advanced settings.

4. Go to the link above and follow only the section regarding the slow transfer speeds. Let us know the speeds that you get with the torrents there.
