Auto-restart a torrent w/legitimate "cannot find file" error condition

I have some torrents that exist on another computer which uTorrent accesses across the network. I do have legitimate reasons for doing that and for not just running uTorrent on that other computer as well (just ask if some explanation is desired). Please provide some mechanism for automatically restarting a torrent that enters the "cannot find file" error condition due to the remote computer rebooting or otherwise dropping off the network temporarily. Having to continually baby uTorrent to keep my torrents alive is driving me up a wall.

Ideally I'd like a way to configure the retry interval (could be in the registry or a config file for all I care), but 5 minutes seems like a decent default to me. Something like a half hour (or more) does not seem like a decent default to me. But I'd be happy with whatever as long as I could adjust it to meet my needs.

I'd also be happy with some generic automation functionality that would allow me to accomplish this. For instance, if there was a way to use the "run a program" feature to get uTorrent to restart a torrent when that torrent enters the error state, I could write a script to wait a while and then presumably tell uTorrent to restart the relevant torrent via command line parameters). Or if the automation functionality was expanded to perform actions on torrents besides just running a program, that would work too (as long as it could delay the action). Probably these automation approaches are beyond the scope of what you'd consider adding, but just figured it doesn't hurt to throw them out there as solutions I'd be willing to make use of.

Crossing my fingers that my request will get a positive response. :)

Just felt like bumping this request because it sure would be nice if I didn't have to babysit my torrents that are on a network share when it would seem simple enough for uTorrent to periodically recheck. Heck, it could even be smart about it. Only periodically check if the torrent is on a network share and the network share itself is not available. That way it wouldn't be wasting cpu cycles for torrents which are truly missing. Could be an option that is perhaps off by default?
