Sudden drop in speed?

Hi i was downloading a movie at 1034kbps but has now dropped to 1.7-30 kbps for no reason?

I have the green tick and i did the setup setting again and it says eveything is ok. I have the torrent thing set to "forced".

I checked on the speed test website my download speed is 8mbps

Also health is full, it has 52 of 1005 seeders (3000 in swarm)

Oh yh also my router is in DMZ mode (all ports open) and i disabled my firewall.

There are some things that commonly happen.

Sometimes there are a large number of peers with partial complete files. They seed you quite quickly, but once you catch up with their downloaded amounts, you are all competing for ratio from whoever has completed files and there may only be one if it is an initial seed.

Some people complete and stop seeding

Some people come on line with a fast connection and take allot of bandwidth.

If these things happen at the same time, you will see a drop.

Because it is peer to peer, everything relies on who is seeding.

I try to seed as much as possible to a ratio of 1.5 and then I stop as I feel I have done my part. If others only leech, then the torrent dies.. It really sucks if you can never reach 100% especially on rare torrents, but it is a community effort.
