cafevincent Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 I have been trying to make a working script to process all finished downloads automatically. I have finally made it work the way I need it to. One of the remaining problem is the occasional .!ut file still being in there even though the torrent is finished. I have "write out finished pieces immediately" enables so there shouldn't be a problem. Must I turn of write cache completely to be sure finished is actually finished? This is an especially troublesome for my script because the only way to get the !ut file completed is to re-check the whole torrent (sometimes few hundred gigs) and to do that I need to stop the torrent first (if it's seeding) and it's status changes to finished, meaning the scripts starts to pick the folder, leaving nothing behind. So that in turn means I can't hide the script (hidcon) because I always need to have the option to manually abort the script before it goes to work if I only want to recheck. And if I don't hide the script it steals focus from all fullscreen programs like video player and games. This can't be where I must give up. I've been working on these script revisions for years. It's sort of a dream of mine because it literally saves me hours per day of unpacking, organizing, remuxing etc.
