grahama
Hi With the Advanced Network settings, I am now able to configure uTorrent and BTGuard. That said, is uTorrent missing any privacy functions that that are included with Vuze that are necessary to remain anonymous? Many thanks as I look forward to ditching Vuze if all is safe to use
AnnSnark
uTorrent offers everything Vuze has to ensure your privacy (Encryption, Proxy, Ports, etc). If you are interested in any particular function, please ask here or send a personal message.

CrazyCanuck
You need all those checked for public torrents like thepiratebay but for sites that are private they should auto not allow you to use those features, which means you can keep them on, but to be safe if it's a private torrent, click on it, then in the torrent menu at the bottom of the screen under the label 'trackers' turn off all features and obviously the private tracker that auto stays on will be all you need. For public torrents, use all features, and I would set encryption to Enable or FORCED if you think your ISP maybe on to you. FORCED allows for more privacy but may cut out some peers, if you want privacy FORCED ENCRYPTION is the way to go.
