sailleway
Hello,I've been slowly downloading a large torrent file-by-file. When finally downloaded some files have had quality issues. The comments on the torrent lead me to believe that the torrent is healthy, so the problems are on my end. How do I force µTorrent to redownload the bad quality file? The first time I tried just deleting the file and resuming the download, but that caused the whole torrent to stop downloading and I had to get a new copy of the .torrent file.Just in case I'm not being perfectly clear, here's an illustration. A torrent has the following files: A, B, C, D, and E. I've downloaded files A, D, and E. A and D worked perfectly, but E does not. I'm still downloading files B and C, and seeding files A and D, so I don't want to stop the whole torrent, but I want to force µTorrent to download file E again to get a working copy. How do I do this?Thank you!
AnnSnark
Well, the only way to do it is to stop torrent, do force re-check (right click on torrent) and restart it. Unfortunately, no options without stopping.
sailleway
So just to be clear, I delete the damaged file manually and then force re-check to keep from having to download the .torrent again. (I ended up stopping the torrent anyway because I realized I was probably seeding the bad file.)
