giraffes
i've experienced issues with shitty clients redownloading and/or totally screwing up files that were already seeding when it crashes or I have to force quit for any reason (usually the app is frozen). do i have to worry about this normally? i did this recently w/ utorrent for mac and am paranoid it might have screwed up some files. it seems like there may well be a chance if data was being uploaded while it happened. DreadWingKnight
If you're worried about the files, force a re-check on them.
giraffes
If you're worried about the files, force a re-check on them. They all seem fine (full green bar on all of em). Am I freaking out over nothing?
DreadWingKnight
if they're full green bar after a force re-check, they're fine
giraffes
this should be in the mac section, excuse me. the force re-check option isn't clickable. Nevertheless, http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=88790 seems to indicate utorrent is crash-proof, does this still stand in this situation?
