fallcrboater
I'm getting very low download speeds for torrents... but the status bar at the bottom shows D: 200k+ download speeds, sometimes peaking above 250kB/s. My download statistics are showing 7 GB downloaded today. But I'm not getting ANYTHING downloaded. Not even 100 MB. Definitely NOT anywhere near 1 GB let alone 7 GB.Is this normal? My router is showing a TON of activity, even when I have NOTHING connected to it other than the cable modem, not a PC, laptop, or wireless connection (no wireless leeching, I checked). But I'm only getting an occasional trickle for downloads. Is that normal?I looked through what I could make out of the settings guide, increasing or decreasing various settings depending on what source I looked at for: Upload Speed, Upload Slots, Connections Per Torrent, Global Connection Max, Active Torrents, Max Active Downloading Torrents, net.max_halfopen, bt.connect_speed, maximum global number of connections...It seems like I'm getting a lot of traffic and, based on the status for D:, A LOT of downloading, it's just not for any of the active torrents I have in my download list. DreadWingKnight
RSS feeds?
fallcrboater
I don't know what RSS Feeds are. I don't use them. If that is the "Feeds" status item, it shows no Feeds (0).So, if I have little to no download activity and my status shows D: 250+kB/s, then that is not normal? I have also paused ALL the downloads in the list and had D: 250+kB/s.

trooper_vl
Its joke? But how i can seed torrents if i stop them ?But if i begin seed (torrents already fully downloaded) uTorrent begin download something on full speed.
DreadWingKnight
You seed torrents by letting uTorrent finish them and letting uTorrent manage your queues.Pausing them causes uTorrent to:1> attempt to finish all pieces currently in-progress2> STOP all transfers in BOTH directions once that is done. trooper_vl
ok. but many torrents marked as "download complete 2 weeks ago", "3 weeks ago"And uTorrent continie download some parts?
DreadWingKnight
No. If they're seeding, the "Download" you're seeing is purely protocol overhead.
