Transfer Cap not working as expected

I was downloading and wanted to set a transfer cap to measure from that time for the next few hours.

So what I did was to select the time period of 1 Day (apply), then did reset history which set the displayed tranfer volume back to zero (but incrementing as downloading was in progress). Then I set the transfer cap to 6GB and Apply........the effect was to halt download due to Transfer cap despite the fact that the display only registered 30MB at the time. It seems that the reset only reset the displayed value but not the internal value used for comparison versus the value set for the cap.
