Multiple Computers / Torrents / Flux

I'm using a brand new labtop (with Win7) and I'm a long time user of Utorrent and feel comfortable with firewalls and configurations

Using my labtop and wifi I started 5 torrents. 4 of them are around 1g and the last is 6g. All 4 smaller torrents downloaded within 24 hours about 100k+ or so and I felt that was fine. The last torrent is 6g and has over 600 seeds and 400 peers and refuses to download. (on my labtop..)

When I turn on the lab top it seems to download for 100k for a while and later I check it it runs at about ".8k"to "10k" and usually about "3k". This condition has lasted now for several days.

Here is the kicker, using my father in laws ancient pc I am able to download this torrent at 500k a second! (His computer suffers the same fluctuation as my labtop but has still been able to download the entire torrent in 1 day)

All configurations are default, nothing is capped. I have reviewed the "do this first" faq and my settings, nothing seems obvious.

What bothers me is that these problems didn't appear so obviously until the torrent was over 3g completed and other less popular torrents downloaded with no trouble..

Help is appreciated. Utorrent is #1.
