goldenstar
Hi I put say movies, audio, etc into a folder called say...Movie of the day....that goes into a folder called U Torrent in my Documents I then make a torrent .. browsing for that exact folder.I get the torrent into the u torrent folder and post it to perhaps a fewtorrent sites. As far as I can figure, everthing will be ok and will work as long as thatfile is left there untouched.... it will seed for people around the net.that's great. The thing is, I put some links to mega upload in a few of my filesand as you know the site has been zapped.Would it be ok to go into those folders and delete the mega upload links and put in new ones say media fire ? I d be slightly changing the file, but surely it will be ok if the filestays where it is and the file name is nt changed in any way ......

Muffin Man
Hi,If you change the files you are seeding, you must create a new torrent file.Otherwise people can only download 99,9% of them, excluding the files you have changed in that folder.I'm 99,9% sure of it.Cheers! Firon
Incorrect. Torrents are a snapshot of the files, including their contents. You cannot change anything. You have to make a new one.
