µTorrent 3.1.2 Release Candidate 1 (26702) Help | uTorrent Help F1 is broken, Auto Download Translation is still broken (though can manually d/l on uTorrent Website). Many connected users, even on public trackers are not exchanging pieces w/ uTorrent now., private trackers are beginning to "ban" uTorrent 3.1.x.. not sure why... Is uTorrent transferring bad data to them? Luckily I still had v2.2.1 and started it up and it was "blazing" fast compared to uTorrent 3.1.2 RC1 and...build 26696...

Programmers must've broke alot of stuff while integrating uTorrent "Plus" into the codebase???

No, it is NOT the same screenshot(s). We do not see your preference->disk-cache dialog (@128M, and exact same other settings) , and the write cache should be near full.

have you tried ut 3.0.......to see how it performs when down 10MB/sec upload 10MB/sec simultaneously???? if you didn't don't speak....an then came with proof.... you will see the difference!!!

In utorrent 3.0 you will not see this problem,in ut 3.1 last build is present :

Mircea: Provide the information rafi requested. It doesn't help your "argument" by not providing it.

read here

rafi said it'a a bug.....he disagreed me until he test it,I have posted my proof :

disable windows cache -disabled..... same problem

500MB cache it's my preference..........this isn't the a setting problem

if you need a proof make a test with ut 3.0 you will see that it performs much better (10MB/sec down & 10MB/sec upload simultaneously) then ut 3.1

hope this new version will be fixed

When I uninstall µTorrent, even though didn't choose "Remove Settings", but it still delete all files in "C:\Documents and Settings\??????????\Application Data\uTorrent"

I reported many times, why still no fix?

We're aware of it and will fix later. Also, why uninstall? You don't need to do that for any good reason if you're just going to install again. It doesn't make upgrading work any better.

Private trackers banned 3.1 because it did not ban peers for sending bad data. 3.1.2 fixes that specific problem.

uTorrent is probably still trying to load an invalid torrent that's present in resume.dat (but the .torrent file isn't).

You should see something like this on the Logger tab:

[2012-01-27 10:01:07] Error: <NULL> - Can't open .torrent file: asdf.torrent

It seems like there needs to be a way to scrub invalid torrents from resume.dat so the Logger tab doesn't show that error and so that this doesn't happen:

Edit:

To fix this error, go to the Logger tab, find out which torrent file uTorrent is unable to load (see above error), close uTorrent, navigate to %appdata%\uTorrent, copy any .torrent file in that folder and rename it to the torrent file mentioned. Next time you start uTorrent, you'll see the torrent appear with a status of "Error: torrent file changed" and an equivalent entry in on the Logger tab. Now simply delete the torrent from within uTorrent and everything will be fixed.
