my downloads are very fast but the upload speed is messed up. its going very slow. 1 or 2 k/s. i specifically chose the torrent im using as an example for seeding. at the moment there are about 70 seeders and 90 peers. two days ago it was uploading at a solid 120k/s, my max uploading speed. the same thing happened with another torrent which had around 150 seeds and 150 peers. the problem started at the same time with both torrents. i selected 350 global connections, 100 connections per torrent, and 4 upload slots. also i have selected use additional upload slots if speed < 90%. max upload rate is set to 0 (unlimited) and alternate upload rate when not downloading isn't selected. network settings check out ask ok, port open fine, and speed test from utorrent checked out normally.

i found a number of threads asking about this on this forum with no answers, and many others by googling the problem. could it be just the website where i am getting these torrents? its a private torrent site.

please help!

update: i tried torrents from other websites and the upload rate works fine. now when people post threads like this you can tell them its probably the website/servers they're getting their torrents from. the website i use did just report they got a whole slew of new hardware, they probably have to fix a few kinks. sorry for the wasted thread.

Your upload speed has more or less zero to do with the websites servers unless tracker is down and you haven't connected to peers yet.

Your upload speed depends on your connectivity to allow incoming connections, Your line capacity, How many leechers vs seeders there are.

Only issue im having at the moment is related to bugs/poor coding of v3 of utorrents. v2 im fine but as soon as I update to v3 my speeds either dramatically drop, go all over or just don't reach their potential. Tried everything.
