daddyo63
I have a 2 TB Western Digital My Book Live NAS. The tech support told me that their system does not support a torrent client. They didn't tell me why, so my question to you learned folks is can utorrent be installed on my NAS so that I don't have to run my computer 24 hours a day? My computing environment is a quad core 3.2 GHz AMD processor with 8 GB of memory running Windows 7 64-bit professional. Please accept my apology if this is not the appropriate forum for this kind of question. I am very new to peer to peer sharing.
Falkkon
Putting a BT client on a NAS is not impossible. The folks at D-Link offer it as a downloadable module for their NAS boxes (DNS-323 confirmed to work and do this). As far as running uTorrent off a NAS box, not going to happen.Edit - Checking in on your particular NAS they don't seem to offer a BT module for it. Use the google machine, maybe someone's done it, otherwise, look at the DNS-323.
