Newbie wants general info from you bright folks

Hi guys,

I'm trying to fin out about DHT and trackers and tring to maybe write a p2p client to help me learn. I need to know where on the web I can find a simple explanation and examples of these tpoics for the beginner. Delving into source is still a bit ahead of me as a way to learn at the moment. I want to understand the way these hash tables are distributed and the way trackers keep tract, like a kind of a workflow diagram is what I'm looking for or maybe psudocode? Please help me.
