Mckirkn Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 Torrents do not get past being queued when i begin a download. I have tried different torrents to make sure that the torrents were not at fault.
DreadWingKnight Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 What category are you looking at?Do you have the scheduler or "stop on user interaction" enabled?
Mckirkn Posted February 4, 2012 Author Report Posted February 4, 2012 Category? As in Audio or Music etc.? I have tried a TV Show a Music album and a Film from the Top 100 today. To elaborate on the problem, since posting this, I tried to force start one of them and it seems to work. Although I can't see why, after downloading from utorrent for months, this problem has occured on all three torrents I have tried today. on different types of torrent. Thanks for the commet 'DreadWingKnight' and I thank anyone with further suggestions.
DreadWingKnight Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 Category? As in the category being displayed in the uTorrent window.Could you post a screenshot of:Preferences - BandwidthPreferences - Scheduler
Mckirkn Posted February 5, 2012 Author Report Posted February 5, 2012 I can't work out how to do that i'm afraid. I have taken screenshots of the windows 'bandwidth' and 'schedular' but I don't know how to post an image on here. Copy and paste only seem to copy the text of the picture name and I using the img option above, this is what I get. hopefully, you can see images beneath this text, because i can't.
DreadWingKnight Posted February 5, 2012 Report Posted February 5, 2012 Nope. You need to upload them to a site like imageshack and use the share for forums link from there.
DreadWingKnight Posted February 5, 2012 Report Posted February 5, 2012 Well it looks like we're in scheduled "STOP" time so I don't see how things are misbehaving. What happens when you restore NORMAL operation (DO NOT FORCE START ANY TORRENTS) and disable the scheduler?
Mckirkn Posted February 5, 2012 Author Report Posted February 5, 2012 The problem started on friday,. There should be full or limited power throughout the week until saturday morning so it was misbehaving then. Just in case I'm wrong in when the problem started, I will leave utorrent alone until tomorrow (monday) daytime when the schedular is set to be active all day from midnight.thanks again DreadWingKnight. Hopefully it'll all be my mistake in the end. I will post on this tomorrow to confrm either way.
Mckirkn Posted February 5, 2012 Author Report Posted February 5, 2012 Ah, well. Problem solved. I changed the scheduler to be on, went from force start to start and now it's working. Sorry for the whole conversation and thank you for trying to help, despite the problem only being my ignorance to the scheduler.Case closed!
DreadWingKnight Posted February 5, 2012 Report Posted February 5, 2012 Don't force start. It causes other problems. Re-adjust your scheduler settings please.
