gundamboyzack Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 I have a problem with uTorrent that involves the ability to move the downloaded files to a specific directory when they complete. If you add a torrent manually this functionality works properly, but if the torrent is pulled from a RSS feed, then the data does not move and remains in the "Put new downloads in:" folder. This has been happening off and on, on a torrent by torrent case since the first upgrade to 3.0 came out. Since upgrading to 3.1.2 (I am currently using uTorrent 3.1.2 Build 26729) everything pulled from a RSS feed remains in the "Put new downloads in:" folder. I have multple RSS feeds that this is occurring on. Since you do not support downgrading, please fix this functionality that once worked flawlessly ASAP.
sevenalive Posted February 17, 2012 Report Posted February 17, 2012 Do you specify a save folder in the rss feed filters? If so I think that will overwrite that setting so just leave it blank if that's the case.
gundamboyzack Posted February 17, 2012 Author Report Posted February 17, 2012 All the filters I have set up are blank for that field. I should also mention that since the upgrades that came out this week (on build 26749 right now), it seems to have gone back to being an intermittent problem, about 2 out of every 5 torrents.
chaos_cb7 Posted February 18, 2012 Report Posted February 18, 2012 I have always had this issue with utorrent. I have tried everything I could think of and searched everywhere for a solution but I could never find one. Some times it works, some times it doesn't. I have to restart the torrent to get it to move.
