bumba2
this is not the first time.whenever i create a new torrent and upload it,at the time of seeding it never shows me 100% but 99.7% or 99.9%.Though i got 100% data on hdd, in the files sublist utorrent shows me some part of the file not downloaded.whereas when i open the file directly from utorrent file list it opens without hesitation which is not possible if the file is incomplete or corrupted.the file availability remains 0.996-0.998.i tried a lot but cannot figure out the problem.plz help me as soon as possible.wanna upload full data because i want to see seeders on my torrent.waiting for reply.........................................:

DreadWingKnight
Did ANYTHING change the files between creating the torrent and attempting to seed it?
bumba2
files uploaded consist of video file(mkv),jpg and txt file.i have no idea wat could have changed in the meantime if i never manipulated the folder nor the files present.morever i am not new in torrenting and had uploaded many successful torrents.this problem is recent.btw i can confirm the files r not corrupted.i have a feeling that i am missing some vital thing.plz be specific and point me out any loop holes. anyway thanks for immediate response!!! DreadWingKnight
If they have changed AT ALL, media indexers re-tagging the files, text editors changing the line-end of the text files, or WHATEVER, even if they don't behave corrupt, uTorrent considers them to be corrupt BECAUSE torrents require the files to be byte-identical. bumba2
i lost hope after reading ur last post.but being desperate to find any solution i tried something from my commonsense.now i want to share a peculiar happening!!when i change the files directory and from utorrent i relocate those files then recheck,availability/percentage changes(increases or decreases).this thing contraindicate ur above statement that "torrents require the files to be byte identical".anyway can u describe this happening.i will be very glad if u get the possible solution............. zorch007
have experienced this problem but only with an .mkv file...I have deleted and reloaded the torrent with the same annoying 99.99% result. Have repeated 5 times so would be interested in what you can find.....:|
