BasilBrush
I'm uploading 6 torrents to a seedbox at 50Kbps - one connection per torrent. What I've noticed is that the bandwidth doesn't automatically balance between torrents - some torrents are hogging all the bandwidth. The problem might not be specific to 3.1.2 (build 26745) - it might have been there for some time. Obviously it doesn't effect the overall upload time. If I set the the upload speed to Unlimited the bandwidth between the uploading torrents seems to balance. The seedbox is running rTorrent 0.8.6/0.12.6 under a recent 64bit Debian Linux - maybe the problem is at the rTorrent end. The upload PC is running Windows XP SP3. BasilBrush
That's normal - some people have fast connections, others have slow ones. What I'm doing is uploading 6 torrents to a seedbox (not to other peers). There's one connection per torrent. The problem only occurs when the upload bandwidth is set to a limited value. If the upload bandwidth is set to "Unlimited" then bandwidth balancing seems to occur. It's not a big deal. When each torrent has uploaded more bandwidth is available for the other torrents so they should speed up. The overall upload time will be the same if the torrents are in balance or not.
