ok, on condition that it's an option you can enable/disable in the settings, like in bitcomet. personally i hate other file extensions. that's why i think it should be an option, not by default.

why on earth would anyone want that. it would make it 10 times more hassle to preview an audio or video file that you might be downloading.

maybe like some programs do and instead of adding another file ext it puts an Incomplete prefix on the filename.

Not recommended. Skinning window managers really dislike constant titlebar updates.
