tlass
Hi there,First I would like to apologise for not being able to speak in a technical language about my problem. This may have been covered before, but the answers have been inconclusive. Basically, my university network has torrenting disabled. I believe it is because something blocks its access to trackers. This is because on odd occasions (For example, when I reinstall windows) it starts working, but few days afterwards permanently stops and most importantly because when I take my laptop to my friends' house who are not on the university network, the computer will instantly load trackers and start downloading. When I put the computer on sleep and walk home in 15 minutes and connect my computer to the university network at my home - it will continue where it left off! So my question is, is there any way I could bypass the block which prevents my computer from reaching trackers? Could someone please point me in the correct direction? Firon
UDP trackers might still work. Also, some private trackers offer HTTPS.If all else fails, you could use a SOCKS proxy or VPN.
