vendetta99
HiEver since I updated to the new build 3.1.2(build 26753) - it keeps asking me to update. So i would click yes (firewalls checked), and it would update successfully. I'll turn off the computer. Next day, I'll turn it back on and same message pop ups, if i want to update the new build. It has happened every day since the update. Please help.
Firon
Are you perhaps running an old version accidentally, instead of the installed version?
Pitbull69
your not alone with this issue I also get this issue as does 2 of my friends that also use UT. I dont always need to reboot my computer though, just leave it a while and then get the message, I am running the new version, but it keeps telling me there is a new version again and again
GebratenTaube
Same issue for me too. This time only did I check the build number (that would've been an update) but I didn't check it the last few times so can't say anything certain about it. Rick Deckard
Hello The same problem appeared for me. I solved it, and share with you the solution. The problem comes when utorrent runs as administrator.Solution: To begin with, utorrent unload from RAM. Go to the folder where you installed utorrent - right click on the uTorrent.exe, go to the tab "compatibility" now uncheck "Run this program as administrator".Done.Sorry for my English . GebratenTaube
it seems that every new build of 3.1.2. is causing an update window to appear. Is there point to this updating every new build number? Because most users will just disable automatic updating if this keeps up.
saviour07
I've been getting the exact same issue too.uTorrent doesn't seem to remember that I have unchecked the "Always check for updates" when the pop up is displayed either.
