Upload Speeds

Can someone please help me figure out how to increase my upload speeds. I downloaded a torrent from a private site, and need to keep a good share ratio. My upload speeds are not very good. 0.1 or so. As far as I know ports are forwarded . When I run the set-up guide all checks out. It seems like nobody stays connected. Any info I can give just ask. I would like to figure out what the deal is.

Due to the seed-heavy nature of those sites (which are far from private btw), all bets are off for seeding. You basically have the problem of "there's no one to upload to"

Thanks for your reply. I guess I am not familiar with everything. I guess my thought is that if there are 100 leechers, should some of them be uploading from me?

Unless the "X of Y (Z in swarm)" says 100 for X or Z, there probably aren't actually any leechers on the torrent.

You cannot increase your upload speed to its fullest as it is always limited. But there are some tweaks which might help you increasing your upload speed a bit.

If you are not sure that port is properly forwarded or not, just enable UPnP in both Utorrent and your router.

Utorrent > Preferences > Connection.

UPnP should be available in your router. So just check the documentation of your router and enable it. And don't worry it's not as complicated as port forwarding; you just need to find that setting page and "Check" the respective checkbox.
