atlos Posted February 19, 2012 Report Share Posted February 19, 2012 I'm having trouble downloading torrents, as uTorrent is unable to locate any seeds and returns the warning: Possibly insufficient sources. But there are seeds available: the tracker can find them, my netbook installation of uTorrent can find them, and they include constantly seeded test torrents that should always be able to connect.I have my firewall configured to only run uTorrent when I'm connected to a VPN, but this is not what is causing the problem. uTorrent ran perfectly with this set up until yesterday, and now refuses to connect even when I disable the firewall.I've tried rebooting, reinstalling uTorrent, resetting the router, turning the firewall on and off, disconnecting and reconnecting to the VPN... all without success.The only thing that I can think of that has changed in recent days is that a new version of uTorrent was released, but the problem started as soon as the update was announced (i.e. before I downloaded the update!).I'm at a loss on how to fix this.
