Using Utorrent with IP hiding software???

I have started using a programme that diverts your IP to a chosen server abroad.

Not really sure it will work as I am trying to basically hide my usage from my provider as they charge loads for going over the monthly usage allowance.

Just wondered if firstly these things work the way i think they do and that downloads done with utorrent will not be logged with my ISP?

Also if anybody had any other tips on getting around bandwidth caps with ISPs?

Thanks.

you know im not to sure about this but i dont think you'll be hiding your usage, just what and where from personally i dont think ISPs care what you download, but some ISPs dont like when you upload (share) i dont know whether your downloads with utorrent will be logged or not, these programs as far as i can tell only normally give you an anonymous ip and encrypt your downloads, dont know how to get around bandwidth caps, unless you mean throttling in the peak times, lowering your speed due to high usage, if so there is a way to double your speed without any extra cost to you, very simple too, as far as usage caps and extra charges, depends on your location, sky does an unlimited broadband as does virgin media, all depends where you are as to whether you can take advantage of these deals, you might even be able to get them down a phone line if you cant get hardlines, as far as doubling your speed just get 2 cat 5 ethernet cables, (same length) wrap around 3 times at both ends, tightly, then black tape the conectors on the wraped wires, so now you got your ethernet cable you normally use and plug in the same way, but with the extra bits just sitting there taped to the regular wire(not needed to be plugged in) this should in theory give you double the speed if you do it right, uploading speeds are significantly improved too, if you know how to-if theres a way to upload videos on here i'll show you the video i got this from, its not dangerous as there are no bare wires, as you dont need to cut any, just wrap around and tape up just in case, Hope this is useful for you
