euphony Posted March 2, 2012 Report Posted March 2, 2012 Question: When right clicking on the bars up top it lets you sort torrents by name, #, size, selected size, completed bytes, downloaded, remaining, status, etc. What is the logic behind the order these are listed in on the popup that appears?Suggestion: An option or change to list these choices alphabetically. Say I want to remove the "Bandwidth Allocation" tab from view. I right click on it and have to do extra reading to track down where it's listed. It could be that all of the more typical choices are at the top and the rest are alphabetized or some other variation. If there is a reason it's organized the way it is now that's fine too (and I'd be curious to what that reason is) but for me it is not very intuitive. I think it would be an easy, positive modification to a program I appreciate and use for any torrents I get. Just a friendly suggestion.
Invy Posted March 2, 2012 Report Posted March 2, 2012 just press the first letter of the column that you are looking for. example: if you right click the column bar and press 'b', it will toggle the bandwidth allocation column on/off. however, if there are more than one item that begin with the same letter (example: 'L" for 'last active' and 'label') then it will simply switch between the items. press enter or just click, when the column you want to toggle is highlighted. still much easier that 'doing the extra reading' as you put it, if you aren't very familiar with where all the items are.
euphony Posted March 5, 2012 Author Report Posted March 5, 2012 I suppose that's one way to go about it, though it doesn't work very well for parameters that start with the same first letter since it just picks the one closest from the top or to the mouse. When I try to remove rating, for instance, it can take away ratio instead.
