Iadien Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 I've been constantly having disk overload issues since purchasing an SSD. My torrents are not on the SSD drive, but I feel that it is still the reason I'm having issues, because I have never had these issue in the past. I have tried several suggestions in other threads, but none of them have worked.I have tried the following suggestions:- overriding automatic cache set to 64mb- disabling "enable caching of disk writes"- checking "disable Windows caching of disk writes"- diskio.sprase_files set to true
DreadWingKnight Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 Are you skipping files?Try with sparse to false and partfile to false.
Iadien Posted March 4, 2012 Author Report Posted March 4, 2012 Are you skipping files?Try with sparse to false and partfile to false. Not skipping files.I'll try with both of those on false.
Firon Posted March 5, 2012 Report Posted March 5, 2012 Turn off sparse files. Sparse files are -horrible-.
