mike23pizzo Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 This problem doesn't occur with all removed torrents, but sometimes, when I remove a torrent it will pop back up in my "Downloading" tab. I've tried "Remove and Delete .torrent + data" but it still pops back up. Also, whenever I close and reopen utorrent, all the torrents I had downloaded between the last time utorrent was opened to the time it was closed turn to a red X with a mixture of "Invalid" errors and "Can't Locate File" errors. I then download the files again, all the torrents check, and from then on it doesn't matter if I close utorrent or not, everything will be fine. Thanks for any help that comes along.
DreadWingKnight Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 RSS feeds? Are you deleting files? What settings do you have for preferences - directories?
mike23pizzo Posted March 4, 2012 Author Report Posted March 4, 2012 I don't know what an RSS feed is, so I don't think so.I tried deleting both the files that were downloaded as well as the .torrent filesEverything gets saved to my external HD.I'm going to go and try and find the individual .torrent files and manually delete them instead of doing it through utorrent. I never thought to do that. Maybe that will fix it.EDIT: Finding the individual .torrent files and deleting them seems to have worked. Any idea for the other problem?
DreadWingKnight Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 You've only answered two of my three questions.
mike23pizzo Posted March 4, 2012 Author Report Posted March 4, 2012 Which one didn't I answer? I'm pretty sure it's not an RSS feed cause I don't know what that is. I had tried deleting the files through the "remove and" feature in utorrent but that didn't work. I then went to where the .torrent files get saved to and deleted each .torrent file that the error was occurring with. As for my preferences for directories, everything gets saved to my external HD, which on my computer is my E drive.
