Red Flag / No incoming connections¿¿¿???

Hi, i have this problem that is making me crazy.

I cant get the red flag of utorrent to turn green, even if there are no external issues that could interfere with the utorrent port forwarding. I mean, this post is maybe oriented to people who experienced something similar and they solved it, this is not a classic "go to your router and open your ports" post so dont tell me as a solution, for example to open the ports (all that steprs are already done).

I dont have any firewall or anti-virus installed.

I dont have other programs blocking my connection (that i am aware).

I have the router with the firewall disabled.

I have the right ports opened in the router.

I also used DMZ on the router to the ip of the utorrent pc just in case (this should do the trick, but still it didnt work).

I dont have any viruses that i am aware (i did a cleansweep yesterday).

I have the automatic port mapping activated on utorrent.

Still, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get the green flag. The weird thing is 2 weeks ago i got the green flag, but suddenly it droped and now i cant get the green flag again.

The router my isp provided me is maybe a big shit (hitron CDE 30364) but i cant believe the router port redirection is just useless , so the dmz as well, and im wondering if disabling the firewall on the router have some effect or it is just useless as well.

More weird issues-> even if the flag is red, when i run the tests (when u click over the red flag) it says the port is open (maybe cuz i have the automatic port mapping activated) but the flag stills red. Anyways, i can feel that utorrent is not working as it should.

Any ideas??

PD.: I am using the utorrent 2.0.04 version over windows vista.

I only have 2 advices I can give you, though I don't know if they'll help you.

1. Turn on uPnP on both uTorrent and your router.

2. If advice 1. didn't help, try to configure your router to assign Static NAT to your computer.

I only recommend 2. if 1. didn't work.

Thx S1Drano for your tips, sadly

1.- uPnP is always activated on utorrent, the router doesnt have that option (to turn it on/off i mean)

2.- i dunno exactly wat u mean, if u mean to assign a static ip to my computer, i have 2 computers connected at home (the second one via wireless) and the dhcp assigns the ranks 192.168.1.10 and 192.168.1.11. Anyways, i dunno how to modify that in the router (or i just dunno if the router have that option).

I checked a thousand of times that the ports are redirecting to the correct ip, but still nothing changes.

It looks like utorrent is downloading and uploading at max speed, no matter wat flag color is showing in the bottom line. So, i dont understand. When i run the port tests, it runs ok and it says my port is open, but still the red flag is there.

Maybe is some bug of the 2.0.4??

2.0.4 isn't supported regardless.

Wat do u mean?? 2.0.4 is maybe the most common used version of utorrent after maybe the later ones. And wat does it matter to the red flag?? I am doing some testing, and i cant say for sure utorrent is working OK, even with the red flag. But i am not sure, cuz the download speed from some trackers is ridiculous sometimes. I will try with another version of utorrent, but im afraid that will not change anything... lol.

Oh i see, i missunderstood the meaning :P (but i dont see the point of no support older versions, as some of em works better than newer ones..).

Anyways, i installed the last version 3.1.2, and still no changes. I really am very lost at this. The yellow flag appears for about 5 minutes, then after that it turns into the red flag, but utorrent is still working fine (or that is wat i think, i am not sure cuz of the red flag..).

Any ideas of wat should be causing utorrent to show the red flag even if all the ports utorrent is using are free?? should be the red flag importatn or it is just an icon and it doesnt matter if utorrent works fine and the port test are ok??
