Guest
I just got some disturbing news from a guy who works at my ISP. He told me they actively monitor (among other things I assume) torrent data and periodically police comes in for some of it.I totally don't like the idea of someone nosing on what I do with my line (even though I do understand it's partially unavoidable since ISPs obviously do have means of traffic analyzing). Is there a way to cipher torrent traffic completely? I know I can encrypt outgoing connections, but can I do it the other way too?
GTHK
Protocol encryption is only meant to hide realtime, to prevent traffic shaping. Your best bet would be some kind of VPN/proxy solution.
