janeteve Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 Is there a way to drag movies from my c:drive into uTorrent plus for conversion to apple tv/iPad? Whenever I try to do this with a file I get "Send Files" dialogue box. I just want to covert my saved files. Or do I have to delete them and download them all over again? Thanks for any advice.
Drampam Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 And I have another question about this. How can I choose another folder for converted video (not C://.../Roaming/uTorrent/Media/) since I have my media on another disk and I don`t want double this content especially on disk C. Also I`d like to ask if it`s possible to replace original video for converted one so I wouldn`t have this doubled media content. Will apreciate for an answer. If you can`t do anything about this I`d like to use my right and get my money back for the program which doesn`t answer expected requirements.
jacksonnnv06 Posted March 31, 2012 Report Posted March 31, 2012 i dont know when they can fix this,,,,but im sure that will take a very long time.
ridgeway Posted October 8, 2012 Report Posted October 8, 2012 I used the command prompt to change the file location to make this work. Originally had the same problem but this solution worked for me.1. Close utorrent and move C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent\media to whatever drive you want. I wanted mine in D:\AppleTVmovies 2. click start and type cmd in in search- command prompt should open3. type the following into the cmd: mklink /J “C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent\media” D:\AppleTVmovies\media4. After that command you should get a resulting message along the lines of Junction created for c:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent\media <<===>> D:\AppleTVmovies\mediaWorked great after that, no more hogging of my SSD! Issues: if it doesn't convert to 1080p then I may just switch back to handbrake, but either way this is a fix to the problem.
