SideshowCecil
I've been using uTorrent for a few years without incident, but something happened that was a little unnerving. I downloaded an episode of Archer but when I went to watch it, the file was not Archer but a bunch of my own personal movies stitched together into one video file. It was a little spooky. Somebody spent a good chunk of time to download the movies off my computer, stitch them together, and then upload it back to my computer under the guise of a file I was trying to download. Now the question is, how'd something like this happen? I have a hardware router firewall and clear out my torrent folder regularly. The video files that were stolen were not in that shared torrent folder. More impressive, how'd they manage to push it back to my computer?

jaystak
I have experienced the same thing when I tried to watch the video before download was complete. The important questions are:(1) Why and how does utorrent access personal videos?(2) Is personal data being uploaded via utorrent?
