Detect Torrent Flushing to Disk

Hi,

Is there any way to detect if a torrent is currently flushing to disk? I ran into a file access error today on an automated script that acts when the Web API reports the torrent has status = 136 and progress = 1000. The script only queries the API every 30 seconds, but it managed to fire in the second the data was still being flushed, most likely due to all the other IO I had going on at the time.
