A problem about "open containing folder"

When use the operation "open containing folder", utorrent check the operation is success or not, when failed, utorrent try to open the folder again after a few second.

But if I repalce system explorer with third-party program (such as Directory Opus), utorrent always think the operation failed, and open the folder again.

Even worse, the torrent list in utorrent don't respond any input before the second try of open folder.

I was having a problem -- when I would click "open containing folder" in uTorrent or Chrome, I would get Windows dialog box "What program would you like to use?" ... I would hit Cancel, then 15 seconds later, the folder would open, properly.

Tried the following reg. fix, didn't work (was already at correct value), but maybe it will work for you:

I did find a solution to my problem: I use the Windows tweak utility called "XP-Config", & had checked a setting to "Show folder browser in each explorer window". Unchecking this fixed the problem.

Maybe there is some setting within your custom Explorer program, which would fix the problem. Or perhaps searching the forums of that 3rd-party program.
