No Internet sufring at all when utorrent is running

Hello,

I face a strange problem. Whenever utorrent is on, I cannot browse internet at all. The downloads either never happen or whenever they do happen, at very slow speeds. I am sure this is nothing to do with the utorrent client settings on my machine because I used this same machine with the same configurations connecting to a public network getting dl speeds of upto 2 mbps at times. I am at wits end to figure out what the problem is. I haven't changed/upgraded any of my antivirus s/w.

I have so far followed all the steps mentioned in the various sticky threads and tried to change all values suggested. However my situation remains the same.

As soon as I end process for utorrent32 my internet comes back up. I have recently switched to charter and on a more than 10meg line.

Crap routers can not handle to many sessions at the same time. Try limiting your sessions in the client.
