shallowhal Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Hi, I just got the new internet connection of a very high speed of 120Mbps. Since this time utorrent behaves abnormaly. It still crashes after some unspecified period of time. It seems that the down/up speed and approx. 15 active torrents cause the system resources to run out of (though the indicators show 50% CPU and max 40-80% memory usage.I don't know. It may be the utorrent setting. Can anybody help?

DreadWingKnight Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Missing process explorer process list with the dll list for the utorrent.exe process, however norton internet security may be the cause.
shallowhal Posted March 25, 2012 Author Report Posted March 25, 2012 The process explorer shows only exe files. But I have limited the active torrentz to max 7 and it seems working now. Later I wll try to deactivate Norton security and increase number of active torrentz to see what happens... I will put the result here.
DreadWingKnight Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Please follow the directions in the thread I linked to get the dll list.
GTHK Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 AV wont stop interfering even when "disabled", only way to be sure is to uninstall.
shallowhal Posted March 26, 2012 Author Report Posted March 26, 2012 OK, no matter if I decrease number of active torrentz, utorrent accidentally hangs. After restarting it begins checking partially downloaded files, after that or sometime during it hangs. And until it crashes, it is able to finish a few downloads. This did not happen with the old 8Mbps connection, it was very stabile. Here you can find the full duping file - created during checking procedure while utorrent was still running.I don't know if anyone reads from this anything...www.vocab.cz/download/utorrentfulldmp.rar
rafi Posted March 31, 2012 Report Posted March 31, 2012 I don't know if anyone reads from this anything...I did ... you can try to: disable advanced->diskio.use_partfile (will work only for newly added torrents)
