idspisp0pd Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 I doubt this is possible, but I figured I'd check here. I've got a large number of torrents seeding (about 1300 or so), and I would like to move the .torrent files to a different place on my hard drive (i.e. I want to move the .torrent files themselves, NOT the actual material being seeded, which will stay in the same place).I realize I could just remove the torrents from uTorrent, move the .torrent files to a different directory on my HD, and then open them in uTorrent again, but if I do that, I'm guessing I'll have to force a re-check on all of them before I can start seeding again. I'd obviously rather avoid having to do a hash check on almost 2TB of data just to move some .torrent files to a different place on my HD, so if there's a way to change the location of a .torrent file without removing it from uTorrent (preferably in a way that allows me to work with more than one torrent at a time), please let me know, because I'm not seeing it.Thanks!
IFar Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 There is a ulility by ULTIMA that does what you want. It does work, and there are great directions in the thread. Edit: I re-read your message and I might be wrong http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=31306 Is the utility I was thinking of, but not sure it will do what you want.IFar
