lavahot Posted March 31, 2012 Report Posted March 31, 2012 I have a RSS feed that updates regularly and goes through a filter. This filter is supposed to find 720p quality torrents in the feed (set in the advanced section of the filter settings) and start them with a specific label. I have noticed that often after leaving utorrent to run continuously this filter will fail and not find anything. I can fix this by going into the settings for the filter and as soon as I click on the advanced button, the filter starts working again. This appears to be a bug. I'm using this on a media server that I've set up for my folks to use so they don't have the patience or computer skills to remember to check this problem themselves. THank you for the beautiful product and your dedication.
AnnSnark Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 Thank you for reporting this bug! We'll try to reproduce it and fix as soon as possible!PS: please specify your iOS and build number!
q-styler Posted April 8, 2012 Report Posted April 8, 2012 Same here. This filterWill start both torrents: with and without 720p
AnnSnark Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 Hi,the thing is, uTorrent treats your filter words like Touch and/or 720p, in your case both the torrents contain the word touch, so they will both be added. To tune up the filter, play with advanced settings (you can choose 720p in the quality drop-down list, for example).Thanks.
lavahot Posted April 21, 2012 Author Report Posted April 21, 2012 Sorry q-styler, not quite the same problem as mine, in fact, it's a totally different problem.I'm running Mac OSX Lion 10.7.3 with utorrent 1.5.14 build 26699.Added wrinkle: modified my RSS so that there were only 720p items in it and removed any specifiers of any kind from the filter so that it would download all items automatically. This resulted in the exact same problem. Thanks for your help AnnSnark, I really appreciate it.
