eshnah4
Obviously there's been a huge surge of magnet link downloads in the torrent world since Piratebay's switch over to the protocol.I currently use a proxy network that disallows the usage of UDP transfer over itself due to presumed security issues therefore I'm unable to gain any information about my torrent using magnet links which means no torrent for meI was wondering if there was a way to keep my proxy for all data transfer excluding those that use UDP (in other words I want to download the .torrent file without the proxy but still download the end result with the proxy).I really hope this is the right subsection to be posting this in, and I deeply apologize if I have misunderstood the posting rules as this is my first post on this board.Thank you in advance for any advice/help--eshnah4EDIT: Perhaps a simpler alternative to this would be to obtain a service or program that converts magnet links into .torrent files? Just putting ideas out there. Does anyone know of such a program?

Firon
There is no way, but you could use another proxy that allows UDP.
