Hello,

I have a problem with this program:

Few times in an hour uTorrent stops reacting to my commands, only thing I can do about it is to close process in windows task menager and open program again. This is very uncomfortable and after each crash, uTorrent have to check all data from downloadings which are not complete, and this takes time!

Im using Windows XP SP3 Proffesional, 32bit

The same thing is happening to me, only on Win7 64-bit. It stops responding roughly every 15-20 minutes and has to be killed. Killing the program sometimes causes recently-added torrents to be lost, so I have to go find and download them again.

To answer your last question, even though I'm not the OP, it was happening after adding a number of magnet links.

It's a very similar behavior here with version 3.1.3, build 27120.After adding magnet links, and for some time, if i even click on utorrent it hangs. Some minutes ago it hanged like so, closed, opened again, minimized to the tray, and now it's not responding again.

adding a bunch of magnets have nothing to do with this,program just hangs form example when Im watching a film (Im not even adding a lot megnets in one time)

It is strange more beacuse Im using uTorrent for 3-4 years and it started to happen only few months ago...

I am also having the same problem but it locks up my whole pc and have to re boot all the time. I am running 3.2 beta utorrent build 27295 windows 7 32bit. and when utorrent starts up again it starts checking my 3 torrents that I have running, and it takes about 2 hours to check them.

I would suggest that anyone using the 3.1 version of utorrent update to the latest beta version and then post back whether the problem still exists. I've also noticed on the forums that the Chrome browser doesn't work well with utorrent, so if you are using that then try another browser. Below is the latest beta version which addresses a load of issued in the 3.1 version.

I've been having the same problem on windows 64 for almost a month now. I have already tried various betas in the meanwhile, gone back and forth between 3.1.3 and 3.2 to no avail. I've seen quite a few threads all promising 3.2 to fix it but no one confirming it yet. I think some version has broken it seriously and going by the responses they are yet to find out what it is.

Will wait for another couple weeks and move on to a different client if its not fixed by then.

It was good while it lasted :(

Well guess what, I've just registered to be the next user of the program to tell you that there is something wrong. I've been using utorrent from many years, and never have consider changing it, until now.

Yes I am using Chrome, Yes I am downloading a lot of torrents with magnet links, so the same problem appears, we are waiting for a solution.
