Richard0600
Hi there...I just reformatted my computer reinstalled all my programs and I can't seem to get magnet torrent links to open up in uTorrent.Things I've tried:1. Double checked to see that all torrent files are associated with uTorrent2. Updated to newest versions of Chrome & uTorrent3. Uninstalled Chrome & uTorrent using Revo Uninstaller Pro4. Reinstalled Chrome & uTorrent (latest versions)5. Tried to open magnet links from IE8 (didn't work either)6. Made the following edits to my registry:-----REGEDIT4[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Magnet]@="URL:Magnet Protocol""URL Protocol"=""[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Magnet\shell][HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Magnet\shell\open][HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Magnet\shell\open\command]@="\"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\uTorrent\\uTorrent.exe\" \"%1\""------I think that covers everything.. Does anyone else have any other suggestions? I realise I can simply just right click the magnet icon and select copy link URL and open it in uTorrent but that is just annoying. I miss being able to one click torrent links. Your help would be appreciated.
